We stand behind every stitch. If your Silhouist garment doesn't fit the way it should, we will make it right — whether that means covering your alteration costs, remaking your garment, or finding another solution. Our Perfect Fit Guarantee is not a disclaimer. It is our promise.
Our commitment
Custom clothing involves a degree of calibration. Measurements can vary. Bodies are unique. We take every step to get it right the first time — but when fine-tuning is needed, we don't walk away. We work through three escalating steps to ensure you end up with a garment you're proud to wear.
How it works
We'll guide you through what needs adjusting and reimburse your local tailor's fees — up to $75 per shirt and up to $125 per suit, blazer, or tuxedo. No return shipping required.
If local alterations aren't enough, we remake your garment from scratch at no additional cost, using your feedback to refine the pattern.
In rare cases where fit cannot be achieved after Steps 1 and 2, we work with you directly toward a fair resolution, which may include store credit.

Eligibility
- Claim submitted within 30 days of delivery
- Garment unworn (tried on for fit only)
- No third-party alterations without prior written approval
- Minimum 3 photos required (front, back, side)
How to submit a claim
- Email hello@silhouist.com — subject: Perfect Fit Guarantee – Order #XXXXX
- Attach 3+ photos wearing the garment (front, back, side — arms at sides, natural posture)
- Describe the fit issues in plain language
- We respond within 2 business days with confirmed next steps
What is not covered
- Change of mind on style, fabric, or color after ordering
- Damage from improper care, washing, or storage
- Unauthorized third-party alterations
- Claims submitted more than 30 days after delivery
- Garments worn, washed, or used beyond a fitting try-on
